FinApp Support

FinApp is a personal-finance app that brings your bank accounts, transactions, spending categories, recurring bills, and net-worth history together on your iPhone — with all data stored privately on your device.

Getting started

1. Open Settings in the app.
2. Get a setup token from your SimpleFin account (https://simplefin.org).
3. Paste the token and tap Connect. Your accounts and transactions sync in.

Want to look around first? Tap Preview with sample data on the Settings screen to explore the app with realistic example data — no connection required.

Common questions

Where is my data stored? Only on your device. There is no server we operate. See the Privacy Policy.

How do I remove my data? Settings → Disconnect removes the SimpleFin connection. Settings → Clear all local data deletes everything stored on the device. Deleting the app also removes all data.

How do I secure the app? Settings → Require Face ID / Passcode.

A balance or transaction looks wrong. Data comes from your bank via SimpleFin. Tap Sync Now in Settings to refresh. If it still looks off, the source is your bank’s data through SimpleFin.
