Interval Pulse Timer is a simple interval workout timer: build custom interval sequences, run them with a countdown ring, sound and haptic cues, and review your history afterward. An Apple Watch app lets you run your workouts from your wrist. All data stays on your device — see the Privacy Policy.

Where is my data stored?
Locally on your device only. Nothing is uploaded anywhere, and there's no account or sign-in.
I don't hear sound cues during a workout.
Check Settings → Sound is on, your device isn't muted via the side switch, and system volume is up. Interval Pulse Timer plays cues even in Silent Mode via mixWithOthers, but the side switch itself must not be silencing media.
How do I delete a workout or session?
Swipe left on a workout or history entry to delete, or use Edit mode on the Workouts list to reorder / remove.
How do I clear all my history?
History tab → Clear history, choose to clear a single day or everything.
My screen turns off mid-workout.
The app keeps the screen awake while a workout is running (isIdleTimerDisabled). If it still sleeps, check Settings → Display & Brightness → Auto-Lock isn't overridden by Low Power Mode.
How do I get the Apple Watch app?
Install Interval Pulse Timer on your iPhone, then open the Watch app on the iPhone — the watch app installs automatically if "Automatic App Install" is on, or you can add it from the "Available Apps" section. On first launch the watch asks for one workout-session permission, used only to keep the timer running while your wrist is down.
My workouts don't show up on the Watch.
Workouts are created and edited on the iPhone and mirror to the Watch automatically. If the list is empty, open the iPhone app once with the Watch nearby and unlocked; the list syncs device-to-device (no internet needed).
Can I edit workouts on the Watch?
No — the Watch runs workouts; building and editing happens on the iPhone. Finished Watch runs sync back into the iPhone's History.
Why does only one device beep during a Watch workout?
That's intentional. If your iPhone is playing audio (music, podcasts), Watch-run cues play through the iPhone so they mix into what you're hearing; otherwise the Watch beeps. Haptics always play on the Watch.
Where's the timer when I lock my iPhone mid-workout?
A Live Activity shows the current interval, round, and countdown on the Lock Screen and in the Dynamic Island, and sound cues keep playing while the app is in the background.
iOS 17.0 or later. Apple Watch app (optional): watchOS 10.0 or later.
